n : A minor band. An indies band that is so indies that they rarely tour, and instead generally play a few livehouses in their place of origin. Minor bands also tend to play free lives a lot in order to gain popularity
n : lit. "purpose" - The band that you are there to see at an event. When you go to an event concert and hand over your ticket, the staff member will ask you which band you are there to see. The livehouse collects all the ticket stubs and tallies how many people came for each band
n : Major. Any band on a major label
n : A slang way to write member (メンバー) as in a band member

n : lit. "member call" - Shouting out a band member's name, usually done when a band comes out on stage or whenever there is silence. Unlike overseas, shouting things during a song (unless it's part of the audience participation) or when a band member is talking is extremely rude and never done
n : lit. "secret room style" - Refers to any band that was on the Misshitsu Neurosis label: cali-gari, MUCC, lab.
v : Moshing. Moshing in the Western sense is almost never done in Japan, since most livehouses forbid it. Moshing in Japan is more like flailing or jumping around wildly
n : A fan who focuses only on one band, or one band member. For example they might go to events and only enter the floor for just their band
n : A fan who believes that a band member notices and likes him/her
n : A free concert. All you have to pay is the drink fee. Free lives are usually at so-called famous livehouses and are used to promote new or lesser-known bands
